Through Time: Pompeii follows the story of a townhouse at the centre of this famous Roman city. Beginning in the 6th century bce, a simple hut becomes a farmhouse, and gradually the farmhouse is swallowed up by the expanding new city. The house grows as the city prospers, but it also suffers the devastating effects of Pompeii's famous natural disasters.
